Group Meetings
There have been no meetings of the local group since the last Council meeting. The AGM has not yet been rearranged. No syllabus meeting for next year has yet been arranged.

Agenda for Change
This rumbles on and takes up a significant amount of my time e.g. still commenting on job descriptions, matching etc., with a KSF course in November.

New Children’s Hospital
The first meeting of the group charged with deciding the location of a new Children’s Hospital to replace Yorkhill Hospitals took place on 2nd September in Glasgow.

Pharmacy Services Review
A new build hospital, transitional arrangements, community health partnerships and the new community pharmacy contract have prompted a review of pharmacy services across secondary and primary care in NHS Forth Valley, including community pharmacy. This will look at the current services and services which are likely to be needed in the future and make recommendations for consideration. Pharmacy and other staff, staff side reps, and community pharmacists are taking part in the review. The review in NHS Greater Glasgow is still ongoing.

Organisational Change
Kate McKean has been appointed as Head of Prescribing Policy for NHS Greater Glasgow. There has been very little information about how the various departments, functions and staff will be integrated into NHS Greater Glasgow if the dissolution of NHS Argyll & Clyde goes ahead.

Membership
I have processed a number of new membership forms since the last meeting.
